These brackets are used to fix the rooflight blind to the wall whenever L-angle shelving is being used. They can be adjusted with a screwdriver to fit perfectly to the side of the reveal even when the blind isn’t perfectly snug.

Deductions dictate how much you need to take off your recess size* to get to the blind size* of any given product.

Deduction from Recess to Blind Size:

Recess Size: The side-to-side and top-to-bottom measurements of the reveal the blind is going in.

Blind Size: The finished size of the blind you’re installing.

A small gap exists where the hembar meets the cassette box at the end of our rooflight blinds. This is covered by L-Angle Fixing Shelves but should be considered if not using shelves and need full blackout.

The orientation you choose dictates which way your blinds headbox points.

To figure out which side of the blind you want the motor to be, here’s a guide to finding the left and right hand of your rooflight blind.

Place yourself at the idle head of the blind (where the spring boxes are) so that when the blind closes the hembar will be coming towards you. No matter how the blind is going to be installed this will put the left hand side of the blind on your left, and the right hand on your right.
