Rooflight Blinds

Tensioned rooflight blinds are our most complex and intricate products.

They’re most often used to cover glazing that sits at a tricky angle, whether horizontal or angled. This is entirely thanks to the spring tension system at the bottom end of the blind, which keeps the fabric stretched tight instead of sagging downwards.

If you’re installing any of our rooflight systems for the first time, you’re required to take our specialised rooflight blind training, see more here: The Umbra AcademyThe Umbra Academy

KuroLok Twin RL

There’s also a solution for when larger angled and horizontal windows need shading. KuroLok Twin RL consists of two blinds that meet in the middle to create some of the most enormous rooflight systems, dramatically increasing the maximum possible surface area.
