G-Value and GTOT are both terms used to describe the number used to demonstrate the thermal performance of different fabrics.
GTOT and G-Value numbers fall in between 0 and 1, and represents the heat that passes through the fabric when directly hitting it. For instance, a fabric with a GTOT of 0.59 would let 59% of heat through.
The smaller the GTOT/G-Value, the more effective the fabric.
